Aliaa El Greidy born in Alexandria, Egypt 1968. Her work was exhibited and appreciated in Egypt and abroad. Greidy uses textiles and different fabrics, as well as threads uses her own technique to create multi-media works in telling different stories.

She uses animals and animalistic behavior as a main symbolic tool. Her work is described as being representative of the rich world of human subconscious.
