Collection: Islam El Rihany

Born in Assiout in 1986. He completed his BA at Minya University from the  Faculty of Fine Arts, where he now works and teaches. He describes his brush strokes as thick, impulsive but yet non-negotiable. El Rihany has benefited from his academic work and his exposure to the great artworks of his elder peers in Minya University. His artwork has been featured in many exhibitions around Egypt and collected by many.

“Once I create a mark on the canvas I never return back to it; this is the essence of my paintings” he said.
