Lina Osama, a distinguished artist and alumna of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Zamalek, presents a distinctive artistic practice shaped by a profound engagement with cultural exploration and artistic expression. Her extensive artistic journey includes studying at the prestigious Salzburg Academy of Fine Arts in Austria from 2006 to 2009, where she further refined her skills and developed the distinctive visual language that characterizes her work.

Osama has presented her artistic practice through numerous solo exhibitions in Cairo, engaging audiences with thought-provoking and visually compelling works. Her practice has also extended to the international art scene through participation in a number of group exhibitions across prominent cultural destinations, including Paris, Venezuela, and Taiwan.

In her evocative canvases, Osama brings together and reinterprets imagery drawn from ancient, modern, and contemporary Cairo, creating layered compositions that reflect the city’s diverse visual and cultural dimensions. Her artistic vision unfolds through a rich palette of vibrant jewel tones, encompassing the captivating hues of ruby and emerald alongside the luminous shades of sapphire and gold.
