Born in Alexandria, Egypt 1909, Mohamed Ibrahim received his primary and secondary education in Alexandria. His exceptional talent was realized in Arabic Calligraphy since childhood and grew up loving it before becoming a professional and started working on it, as his Arabic calligraphy had a big part in the advertising campaigns for Um Kulthum- Youssef Wahbi-George Abiad and others. Then he became one of the pioneers and scholars of Arabic calligraphy in Egypt and the Arab world in the new era. He was the founder of a distinguished school of Arabic line located in Alexandria in 1936. His whole life was to serve the art of Arabic calligraphy, to spread it to the other generations, to preserve his heritage and creativity. He passed away in 1970.
