Collection: Shawky Zaghloul

Born in Gharbia, Egypt in 1947, Shawky Zaghloul studied Painting at The Faculty of Fine Arts in Egypt, then he spent 10 years in Kuwait where he produced a large number of paintings, approximately two hundred paintings. 

Shawki creates a pastoral paradise, with a light, whimsical tone of fairy tales. He held many private and group exhibitions. He died as a result of a car accident in Kuwait in 1988.

Khan Al Maghraby held three different solo exhibitions for his work after his death.
