Collection: Ashraf Zaki

Born in Cairo, Egypt 1967, He received a Ph.D. in Arts Philosophy 2003. Zaki is currently working as a professor at The Faculty of Fine Arts. He was awarded many prizes like Subiaco Award Italy 2018, First Prize of (Asria Art Competition) 2019 Rome, Italy.

He participated in several exhibitions in Egypt and abroad. In Zaki’s painting one notices the uses of vividly luminous color contrasts. He aims to dig up the very distinctive long-time rooted vigorous nature of places, not as it appears but as it is seen by the artist himself.
